The flat type clamp shall be suitable to grip the Earth wire. The body of the clamp shall be made in two halves which are to be hinged on one end. High tensile bolts shall be provided along with the nuts on open end of the clamp. The top half of the clamp should have circular shape grove to accommodate earth wire without causing any deformation to its shape. The nuts provided to the bolts shall be extra-long size to facilitate better tightening along with extra thick washers. The alloy steel body shall be enamelled painted to prevent corrosion.
